Spawn

Terms

Terms of service

The plain rules for using Spawn on spawnapp.org and, when it launches, Spawn Pro. Last updated October 31, 2026.

Who you’re dealing with

Spawn is operated and billed by Degen Social. By using spawnapp.org or Spawn Pro you agree to these terms.

Free plan

The free plan needs no account. Builds last for your session and may be cleared whenever the service restarts or updates — download the zip to keep your files. Free features and limits can change.

Payment terms

Spawn Pro costs $12 per month or $120 per year (plus any tax required where you live), charged in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and billed by Degen Social.

Subscribing: Pro is tied to a Spawn account. Create an account (or sign in) on spawnapp.org with an email link, then subscribe from the pricing page. Pro features apply to the account you subscribed from.

Auto-renewal: Pro renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period at the then-current price until you cancel. We’ll tell you by email before any price change takes effect on your plan.

Cancel anytime

You can cancel anytime with Manage billing — on /build when signed in, or on the pricing page — which opens Stripe’s secure billing portal. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds are covered by the refund policy.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Spawn to build or host anything illegal, to phish or impersonate others, to distribute malware, to send spam, to infringe someone else’s rights, or to attack or overload Spawn or other services. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

You own what you build. You’re responsible for the content of your apps and for any secrets or domains you connect.

Desktop app and going live

The desktop app (part of Pro once publicly downloadable) publishes sites from your own computer through a tunnel. A site is only reachable while your PC is on, awake, and connected. We don’t guarantee uptime for sites served from your machine, and custom domains may need your own DNS and router setup.

No warranty and liability

Spawn is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for lost data, lost profits, or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Keep your own copies of important work.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material for paying Pro customers, we’ll email you before it applies.
